Jesse James Gives 'Plan Van' Keys to City

The City of Long Beach Planning & Building Department and Jesse James, host of the popular Monster Garage TV show, unveiled the "Long Beach 2030 Plan Van" designed by West Coast Choppers. The Long Beach 2030 Plan Van is an interactive mobile classroom that will be used for community outreach and public awareness about the City’s General Plan process throughout 2008. Long Beach 2030 Emerging Themes

Over the last six months, hundreds of Long Beach community members have contributed their ideas to make Long Beach a happy, healthy place for years to come. The Emerging Themes document describes will be used to guide the creation of the Long Beach 2030 Framework Plan, which will describe a strategy for achieving the community’s goals for the future.
